an excellent opportunity for mutual learning,
exchange of best practices and development of
international cooperation.
The main objective to be achieved via the Regio
projects is:
„Strengthening of European dimension in
education by promoting cooperation between local
and regional educational authorities in Europe,
achieving the goals of Comenius program, and

REALIZACJA PROJEKTU |
|
HOW WE MADE IT HAPPEN |
|
Last year our school, as
well as Junior Secondary School no 2 in Elbląg,
Lincoln, four towns and ecological centres from
the UK, Municipal Office in Elbląg, the Centre
of Ecological Education in Piaski and
Pedagogical Library in Elbląg, was invited by
Mariola Chodakowska, an advisor from
Warminsko-Mazurski In-Service Teacher Training
Center in Elbląg, to collaborate on the The
Comenius Regio Program. We all became partners!
Together we drew up an application and submitted
it for approval. In the spring 2010, our
application was examined by the workers of the
National Agency Lifelong Learning Programme; two
independent external experts appraised the
content of our application and, finally, it was
approved for realization. For the subsequent two
years we are going to work together with our
partners from Elbąg and Lincolnshire,
implementing the project “Blue and Green –
Education Outside the Classroom.” |

THE FIRST VISIT OF THE
LINCOLN COUNTY GUESTS |
|
Today,
on 20th October, our school had a chance to
welcome sixteen visitors: the representatives of
four schools, Municipal Office in Elbląg and
Centres of Ecological Education in Lincolnshire.
Yesterday our guests visited the Centre of
Ecological Education in Piaski, and today, with
a great curiosity, they were watching the work
of pupils and teachers in our school and Junior
High School no 2. They visited our Science
Laboratory, in which class 5 b was learning
about the benefits and qualities of compost.
They also visited class 2 b during the English
lesson. Pupils in class 2 c invited our guests
to the school garden for a short Geography
lesson. The visit came to an end in the company
of the cheerful and singing pupils from the
pre-elementary class. In November 2010 our
teachers are paying a visit to our UK partners.
